Pelican Coast is a new tie line based in New Orleans, Louisiana that offers hand-made, 100% silk ties lovingly designed by a fifth generation local family that wishes to help restore, revitalize, and create awareness for our disappearing wetlands in Louisiana and all along America's precious coastline. Louisiana is "America's Wetland" and now more than ever, our coastline is being threatened by natural and man-made disasters that continue to erode our precious resources and special way of life in coastal Louisiana.
Each tie in Pelican Coast's flagship Coastal Collection depicts an image of the unique culture here in coastal Louisiana and the great Gulf South.
Pelican Coast has designed each tie in the Coastal Collection in a fun, yet conservative, coastal motif, tailor-made with the interests of saving America's Wetlands in mind. Therefore, and most importantly, 20% of all proceeds Pelican Coast Neckwear receives from the sale of each tie will be donated directly to this highly effective and nationally acclaimed AMERICA'S WETLAND FOUNDATION.
